A strong design also needs clear converting information. This checklist supports preparation and does not replace the specification approved by both parties.
1. Confirm format and dimensions first
Artwork belongs to a particular bag style, finished size and film construction. Flat bags, gusseted bags and roll formats should not automatically share one layout when converting details differ.
2. Define print sides and reading orientation
Identify front, back, logo orientation and how the user will view the bag. For rolls or machine dispensing, discuss winding direction and print position.
3. Review seals, folds and openings
Mark converting features to avoid placing important content in unintended positions. Allowances and exact positions are agreed with the technical team before approval.
4. Check text, logos and label content
Verify product names, item codes, languages and logo versions. Buyers confirm brand content, image-use rights and destination-market label requirements.
5. Supply colour references and version control
Provide a colour sample or existing reference so the team can discuss acceptance criteria. Save files with a version, approval date and approver; do not mix draft and approved files.
6. Review the sample before production
Check the layout on an appropriate sample and align the specification. Colours and printing approach are confirmed for the material, equipment and actual inquiry, not only the design image.
Turn the checklist into an inquiry
Use the product inquiry form and select domestic or international sales to open an email to the appropriate team.
