Understand the product and packing operation
The brief includes the product type, dimensions, weight, manual or machine packing, storage conditions and destination market. When replacing an existing pack, identify what should stay the same and which problem needs improvement.
Review materials, structures and formats
The portfolio supports discussions involving HDPE, LDPE, PP and multilayer or MDO-PE development directions. Review the material alongside bag style, seals, openings and handling requirements. A more complex structure is not automatically a better choice; suitability and converting feasibility drive the decision.
Design for both identity and operation
Beyond logo layout and printed wording, align bag orientation, dispensing, unit counts and case packing. For export orders, buyers provide the required languages, label content and logistics specifications.
Evaluate samples before aligning production
Review the sample with the real contents, closure process and equipment. After adjustments, agree the artwork version, technical specification and quality criteria. Timing, costs and the number of sample rounds are discussed for the individual project.
